Perfect spot for the Santa Ana hike! Rolled out of bed, grabbed quick bites from the cafe, and caught the group hike. Post-hike bliss with a shower and a cold beer. Kids adored the play area, adding to the family vibe. Such convenience transcended our simple stay!

The on-site restaurant served delicious pies, making it a great spot for grabbing a quick meal before heading out for the Santa Ana hike.
The room felt a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh, particularly the blankets which were quite thin.

proximity to Santa Ana trailhead, onsite restaurant for pre-hike meals, availability of warm water in showers
Definitely needs improvement on payment methods, cash-only policy can be frustrating!!! Kitchen lacks essential amenities like cutlery and pots!!! Music volume makes for a disruptive nature experience!!!

The location is ideal, being just moments away from the trailhead for Santa Ana, perfect for pre-hike preparations.
The absence of Wi-Fi and consistent hot water made for some inconvenient moments during my stay.

Why it might work for you – or not
The location is unbeatable for a Santa Ana hike! It’s fantastic to have an on-site restaurant for a quick breakfast before conquering the trail.
The kitchen really lacks basic amenities, which can be annoying if you plan to cook. Also, you might need to experiment to find warm water in the shower.

The location near the Santa Ana trailhead makes hiking super convenient, enabling a quick breakfast stop before hitting the trails. The play area provided a bonus for families, perfect for kids to unwind after a long hike.
The room felt dated and had several issues, including rusted refrigerator and thin blankets that left me chilly at night. Awful pillows and an overall poorly kept vibe meant comfort was lacking, and while you might enjoy the outdoor experience, be prepared to bring your own gear for a cozy night.

The on-site restaurant served delicious pies, making it a great spot for grabbing a quick meal before heading out for the Santa Ana hike. The location is ideal, being just moments away from the trailhead. However, the double room felt a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh, and while warm showers were possible, it required some effort to adjust the water. The kitchen lacked basic cutlery and pots, which was inconvenient amid the otherwise beautiful setting.

I had a great time hiking Santa Ana, and the on-site restaurant was a perfect quick stop for breakfast. Just a heads up, the blankets were on the thin side, so I got a bit chilly at night.
